Virtual Reality Room

The “Virtual Reality” room is a reflection of the rapid modern development of humanity in its space. Everything here is enveloped in mirrors, creating the illusion of multiplicity that characterizes today’s world. The textured wall and lighting contribute to the sense of movement in space.

There are no windows in the room. Natural light is provided through transparent doors, which can be covered with tight curtains, allowing guests to remain in a completely separate and intimate space.

Artist’s Studio room

The room resembles an artist’s apartment in an old building in Paris. The walls are adorned with paintings by famous artists such as Claudio Rosati’s “Gogol’s Nose” and talented Ukrainian masters. The room’s geometry, antique furniture, decorative elements, and a carved easel all exude an energy of creativity. It seamlessly combines history and modernity, sophistication, and dreaminess. Guests can dine at the original glass table, relax on a comfortable sofa, and enjoy sweet dreams on a large comfortable bed.

The highlight of this room is the white bathroom—a blank canvas where every guest can unleash their artistic expression with paints. In this space, guests are encouraged to try their hand at being an artist, leaving their sketches and paintings on the walls.

Wedding Suite Apartments

The “Wedding Suite” at Mola-mola is created as a unique place where lovers can stay alone and immerse themselves in the whirlwind of passion. During the planning of the hotel opening, this was the first themed room on the list. The owner of Mola-mola, working as a photographer, dreamed of a special room for newlyweds where they could stay after the wedding and beautifully conclude the celebration. Now, the suite is chosen by couples who want to ignite the flame of passion and recreate the atmosphere of their first wedding night.

The apartment consists of a large bedroom, a lounge, and a spacious bathroom.

In the bedroom, there is a large canopy bed, and by the window hangs a special lamp that was handmade by a Ukrainian artisan over six years. The lamp symbolizes love in all its manifestations: physical, spiritual, and its center represents the birth of new life. This lamp inspired the owner of Mola-mola and became the prototype for the silver pendant and the symbol of the hotel. Across from the bed is the sea, a place where all newlyweds aspire to go.

The highlight of the room is the lounge, which features a rocking chair and a bed with a special history for intimate moments. The first bed of this kind appeared in Napoleon’s bedroom.

The bathroom is spacious and white. Here, one can immerse oneself in warm water, gaze out the window, and surrender to moments of tenderness. Stained glass windows, continuing into other parts of the apartment, create a special atmosphere. They combine Paris and Lviv, depicting important symbols: the mola-mola fish, flowers, water, and the sun. All details convey the power of love and the continuation of life.

According to the hotel’s rules, only newlyweds on the wedding day and couples with a document certifying marriage registration or a church marriage can stay in the wedding suite. There is also an opportunity to have a wedding ceremony on the hotel premises.

Starry Angel Room

The “Starry Angel” room is specially designed for those who are enamored with the starry sky. Stepping into the room, hotel guests enter a space where they can relax in a cozy atmosphere and enjoy the tranquility of the night. It’s a kind of planetarium where each star is significant, symbolizing something greater than just a constellation.

Every detail in this room is infused with passion. Dark blue walls and lights on the ceiling at the entrance create the feeling of being outdoors in the evening, where eyes involuntarily gaze upon the real starry sky. The snug blue curtains in the bedroom depict the constellations of the entire zodiac family, skillfully crafted by the talented owner of the hotel. The angel wings adorning the ceiling above the large bed have a special story and are similar to those found in the Armenian Church in Lviv. The walls are adorned with paper-cut paintings created by a young artist from Frankivsk. The sharp angles of the images beautifully complement the theme of the room. Overall, the “Starry Angel” room consists of two spacious rooms and a bathroom with an exquisite sink and shower.

Luxury Degas Suite

The “Degas” Suite is inspired by a love for Paris, French artists, theater, and ballet. Upon entering, guests are welcomed by a genuine dance studio ambiance with numerous mirrors, a ballet barre, and ballerinas adorning the walls (inspired by famous paintings by the mentioned artist). A unique feature of the suite is a dancer that appears every time someone opens the door.

The bedroom is designed in light tones with specific accents on the bed and the wall, allowing guests to immerse themselves in the atmosphere of a Parisian opera theater during a performance.

Photographs of dancers on the rooftop of the Palais Garnier in the French capital adorn the walls. The suite is situated under the roof, allowing guests to better feel the depicted event and capture the atmosphere. The windows let in plenty of natural light, offering views of the old houses and churches of Lviv.

The bed in the Degas suite is a complete stage. Luxurious velvet curtains, descending from top to bottom, are held by an elegant wooden semi-circle, specially crafted by artisans at the hotel owner’s request. The ornament conceals many details, each with its own symbolism, such as hand-carved horses, berries, a loving couple, a baby embryo, magnolia, and seaweed.

Instead of bedside tables on both sides of the bed, antique chandeliers stand, purchased online from antique shops during the COVID-19 lockdown. The walls are adorned with works by contemporary artists personally selected by the owner of Mola-mola. The vanity table also stands out, designed by Inna Zimina, featuring a unique stylistic solution and the ability to connect to portable speakers.

The bathroom is spacious, featuring a transparent shower, a sink, and an elegant mirror. Images of white peonies on the walls resemble dancing ballerinas.

We recommend this suite to anyone who wants to experience the true atmosphere of the theater in solitude, without unnecessary spectators. Well-known figures, such as an actress from the Ivan Franko National Academic Drama Theater and the honored artist of Ukraine Victoria Vasalatiy, have stayed in this room during the hotel’s renovation period.

“The New Year” Room

The “New Year’s Eve” room is perpetually filled with a festive atmosphere, regardless of the season or time of day. A green Christmas tree, antique toys, lights, a fireplace, candles, and red wallpaper with little monkeys – these indispensable attributes create an atmosphere of New Year, Christmas, the time of gifts, love, and family warmth. Paintings depicting carousels, Christmas trees, and the physical state on the morning of January 1st after active New Year celebrations hang on the walls.

During winter, especially during the holiday season, a real forest beauty adorns the room. Later, it is replaced with no less luxurious artificial décor. Decorations are stored in an antique wooden sofa. The room always smells of pine, allowing the scent of a winter fairy tale to be felt by all receptors. It’s a hiding place for both children and adults.

The room’s surprise is a secret entrance to the bedroom through the wardrobe. This room resembles a cozy frosty winter forest with owls. What makes it unique is the balcony adorned with Christmas lights, where one can go and observe life on one of the central streets of Lviv.

The “New Year’s Eve” room holds special value in Mola-mola. The creation of the hotel, as it is today, started from this space. This room was the first to become the property of Mola-mola, laying a strong foundation for its development.

“Carousel” Room

The “Carousel” room recreates the atmosphere of being before, near, or on a carousel, a beloved childhood pastime for many. Riding on horses that go round and round, accompanied by joyful music, laughter, and bright lights illuminating everything around – this is an image from the memories, dreams, and imagination of everyone. In the Mola-mola hotel, there is a themed room whose interior replicates the atmosphere of being on a carousel.

The geometrically even walls of the room have been transformed into a true circle thanks to the ornament depicting an antique carousel. The room features an antique wooden horse specially made for an attraction that was supposed to be in a castle. This horse is 70 years old and was purchased at an auction along with three others of the same kind.

The room is bright, spacious, with a separate bathroom and a bedroom with a bright double bed. Its frame is entirely wooden, and the carved elements of the headboard replicate the rounded shapes of a carousel. The window and entrance door are adorned with exquisite Italian textiles. Thematic paper cutout paintings hang on the walls.

“Perfumer” Room

The “Perfumer” room has its own special story closely connected to the personal life of the hotel owner, Tetiana Belz. After many years as a photographer, she successfully transitioned into the realms of jewelry and perfumery. Collaborating with Ukrainian perfumer Bohdan Zubchenko, she created her own ultra-feminine, exciting fragrance “Mola Mola,” as well as the masculine fragrance “Gek geDrag.” Her love for the art of perfumery later inspired the conceptualization of this hotel room.

In the “Perfumer,” there are two rooms symbolizing day and evening perfumes: light, more feminine scents, and richer, more masculine ones.

In the first room, you can see magnificent flower-shaped chandeliers on the walls and ceiling. They are made of glass and create a special atmosphere in the evening. A notable feature is the painting on the wall, depicting the power of the fragrance worn by a woman. In her hands, she holds a bottle of Mola Mola perfume. Graceful and delicate, she captivates the attention of all men, turning heads with her scent. However, she is not interested in these men, as she runs to meet her only love, who presents her with Tetiana Belz’s custom-made box “Kisses from Ukraine.” The inspiration for this story and depiction came from the Jose Eisenberg Eau Fraiche perfume. Opposite this masterpiece hangs Claudio Rosati’s painting “Gogol’s Nose.”

The second room is created for relaxation and tranquility. Dark tones with golden accents envelop the room in a cozy atmosphere, helping to focus thoughts on the day’s experiences and savor bright moments.

Guests in the “Perfumer” room can explore a cupboard with perfumes from various well-known brands, sniff them, and purchase if desired.

We are happy to take care of you!
